Disturbed este o trupă rock din Chicago Illinois. S-a format în anul 1996, atunci când muzicienii Dan Donegan, Steve "Fuzz" Kmak, şi Mike Wengren l-au angajat pe cântăreţul David Draiman.^[1] Considerată la început o trupă de nu metal, ^[1] Disturbed este văzută acum de unii critici ca o trupă hard rock sau heavy metal,^[2] iar de alţii, o trupă de rock alternativ.^[3]
