Funkytown If you see a green zucchini
in a pink and white bikini,
And a man with purple hair,
Wearing fluoro green flares,
Dont just scream and run,
if you stay you'll have some fun,
after a while you will see,
that Funkytown's the place to be!


Walking down the street,
With glittery platforms on your feet,
You'll see some lean string beans,
Wearing hippy-flared jeans.
and then soon you'll start to giggle,
and your feet will start to wiggle,
And down the street you'll prance,
Doing the FUNKYTOWN DANCE!!!

After a while you will stop,
doing your hops and bop,
and you'll look into the sky,
and find a really big meat pie,
No, I DO NOT lie,
It is a REALLY big meat pie!
And it's getting near, near!
And you really start to fear,
that it will fall dead,
right spot on your little head!
But then as you look up,
you will find a flying pup,
who in a single gulp,
turns that meat pie into pulp!

As you're looking at the sky,
You'll see right up there, flying high,
A scary seagull, with feathers of green,
With squinty eyes (he looks pretty mean),
Yes, that seagulls really flyin',
screaming "Nivin, Kivin Mivin Kanivin!"

Yes, that really makes you think,
Do you REALLY like fluro pink?
And you really start to see,
Maybe Funkytown's NOT the place for me.
