Well the weekend we had the flood here in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. The flood was about a week ago, the road are in process of getting fixed. Well that weekend I had to work and there was only one way on getting to Nalalu because the roads were washed out. There were colverts washed out by the water. Most of the water came from creeks and ditches. The pavement on the highways was washed off the roads. The dirt underneith the pavement was washed all in the bushed and there was driveways washed out too. People were evacuated from homes because they were so close to the river. Nalalu was evacuated because the river flooded the whole community there. The Nalalu fireteam was out there all night friday night into saturday. They had to make sure nobody went down there. Friday I didn't go to school because there was no school buses running back out to the country. Monday Whitefish School was closed due to all roads washed out so I didn't go to school either.
