Well, maybe about 20 some knots; I don't remember but sounds just abound right for 5,000 MSL; ADF wasn't bad, but the compass oscillation made that stuff seen impossible trying to average out the readings: I'll take an HSI for holds anyday :)

partial panel NDB holds with ADF AND with just the compass; been there done that. To answer your question, you descend 100feet above TZDE if you've got just the Approach lights in sight.
