post, my children, post.
1. the muslim thing
well fair enough i understand a large proportion of americans would not want a mulim president. what i dont understand, at all, is how this affects his campaign at all? Barack Obama is NOT muslim, in fact people that say this are actually being rascist, since there is NO factual basis for this evidence. I dont wanna give you all the counters, but his father became an atheist/agnostic. which is about as far away from muslim as you can be. Obama has been attending church since the 1980s. WHY in gods name would he be doing that if he was a muslim, i have no idea.
2.I never said mcain=bush. I said "his views now have changed to reflect a lot of what Bush said/is saying. ", which indicates a similar course of action rather than being a "new bush".
3. where exactly did he lie about rev wright? not doubting you, just want the facts so i can look it up. also, its interesting that there was such a ruckkus with rev wright when mccain has someone like pastor hagee? tbh, i hatehatehate using endorsements as a reason not to think about a person, but based purely on what they said, hagee is a helluva lot more worse than rev wright: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zASVwKZglAM what really bites the dust though is that, while obama has totally said he does not agree with wright, mccain STILL accepts hagees endorsement.
4. I dont know baracks full spending plan in depth, but I can say a few things about it as a non-American. first off, yes, america is in depression. but wait, that was because of Bush. This will give you an idea about why: http://www.nationalpriorities.org/costofwar_home
now if you work the maths, ull figure that if the war is ended properly, 1.3 trillion will be spent on America itself, not on sending the army to another country. at least barack wants to spend on his own people. Mccain: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFknKVjuyNk
I also want some sort of evidence for the spending being on welfare programmes, couldnt find anything about it on the net.
5.i personally do not agree with abortion. that said, you have to remember that america is (theoritically at least) a democracy and therefore different opinions will come to play. obama does actually want to restrict late term abortions, which is better than what it is now under bush. again, i am not saying that mccain IS bush, but rememebr they both are republican and therefore must follow the guidelines stated to them by the party.
I dont actually support obama in the normal sense, im disillusioned with American politics enough to know that whoever is president, america is still going to keep on strongarming other countries while treating its own citizens badly. at the same time, if i was to choose between obama and mccain, obama would win hands down partly because he doesnt fall for known political tricks as much as the former, nor does he seem do be as bad for the states and the world as mccain would be. "

1) there is a lot of evidence he was muslim he attended a madrassa as a muslim and praciced islam as a child. Problem? Uh, America is at war with islamists... but people are mostly afraid he is a closet muslim since he denies the allegations.
2) McCain has good stances, but i don't really like him either... i like Ron Paul.
3)Don't make me go on youtube but he badically said he never attended controversial sermons... then later he said he attened SOME controversial sermons... then he rejected wright and his church for political reasons. really sad.
Hagee worse? Hagee was just used a reply from democrats which failed. Wright is a racist anti american, while Hagee is a crazy evangelical. Not to mention McCain rejected his endorsement. And McCain never attended his church for 20 years.
Omg you are wrong... :O
In the Economist, it says his wants to raise the capital gains tax by about 75%. More corporate taxes, 4000 cash for every student for college per year, more income tax... anything else? America is not in a depression... not even recession. they have a positive gdp growth, only staggering a bit. Healthcare and welafare programs cost 10x times more than Iraq and at least Iraq serves for Oil. did i meantion barack wants to give something like a few hundreds of billions for his global poverty act to poor african countries when his people are starving???
